President & CEO

Mk Timothy has lead Tim Tech Consults as President and Founder of TTC since 2010. Under his leadership, Tim Tech Consults has become the leading information technology services company in Africa.

Throughout his 10-year career at Tim Tech Consults, Mk Timothy has gained international recognition as a promoter of the IT services industry in and from emerging countries. To help increase the participation of Africa in the IT field, Mk Timothy has collaborated with various government administrations in the early strategies of development.

As President, Mk Timothy has positioned Tim Tech as a key component for opening the doors from Uganda to the DR Congo and Africa atlarge as a provider of IT services. This shaped what is known today as Nearshore, Tim Tech’s trademarked delivery model, and a term widely used in the industry to define outsourcing services provided by countries within close proximity.


Mk Timothy is an active board member of Gold Cage Africa, Goldcorp and Nippon Club.

MK Timothy is a frequent presenter in international forums related to entrepreneurialism, IT and youth role in business. He has spoken at conferences for the International Electronic Circuits Exhibition, Tokyo, Japan,

Opio Madra
Chief Globalization Officer

In 2011, Opio Madra took the position of CGO, a new role that entails identifying and coordinating strategies for Tim Tech’s global accounts. Previous to this position, Opio had led Tim Tech Africa and was responsible for Nearshore Services for over five years. He demonstrates a thorough understanding of what is needed to launch operations in and for different countries.

Opio joined TTC in 2010 and has guided and helped inaugurate the organization’s various new market and technology operations.Early 2011, he founded and developed the Object Oriented Technology Unit practice as well as Tim Tech’s Business Intelligence practice, which marked Tim Tech’s entrance into commercial applications outside the mainframe and midrange environment. He later supported the organization’s globalization efforts in Centra Africa . In 2016 he became Managing Partner in TTC Central Africa and led the Software Development area, from the offering to service delivery. Opio took on the position of Global Business Relationship Manager in 2018 for the most important global account for the company at the time.

Opio holds a Computer Systems Engineering degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores in Monterrey, Mexico, and has been a speaker and panelist for numerous outsourcing and offshore/nearshore conferences around the Africa.

Rebecca Koki Mutungi
Chief Operating Officer

Rebecca Koki Mutungi currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Tim Tech Consults. Her experience as Operations Director for Nearshore led her to take this role to the global level in 2013. Since then, she has been responsible for the operation of various service delivery units, management of the company’s capacities, compliance of service level agreements (SLAs), and for diverse quality certifications.

In September 1915, two years after integrating in the organization as an analyst and programmer,Koki Mutungi took on the challenge of managing what was the largest project in Tim Tech. It was in 2016, after running the most ambitious of retirement fund projects that had been carried out, when she became vice president of Tim Tech Consults, in charge of the U.S and Canada operations.

Before joining the company, Rebecca Koki Mutungi was a leader of capacity planning in Nihon Unisys—one of the largest Tech Companies in Tokyo—from 2001 to 2007.

Rebecca is the President of the Software Council of Nuevo León (Csoftmty). she holds a B.A. in Electronic Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).

Racheal Nzikuru
Hispanic Eastern Congo

Racheal Nzikuru currently leads Tim Tech Consults Hispanic Eastern Congo, in charge of operations in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Bukavu, Goma and Bunia. She is characterized by being a diligent worker, always showing enthusiasm and self-determination. Passionate about the opportunities that are presented before her, Racheal Nzikuru commented, “I can’t allow an opportunity to pass me by. Today I try to be more mature, controlling that passion that has helped me to open many doors.”

Since her incorporation in 2012, she has always sought support of the office in DR Congo and to transform it into a long-term project, with a strong local positioning and an incredible group of people. Regarding the decisive moments where Tim Tech had to design the future of the branch in DR Congo, Kathleen commented, “The crisis of 2014 converted that situation into a great opportunity, where competitors were displaced, and we became stronger. This is considered one of our biggest, most transcendent of achievements.”

Moses Amanya
Chief Operating Officer

With more than 15 years of experience managing domestic and international business transactions, Moses is today Tim Tech’s Chief Financial Officer. He joined Tim Tech in 2011 and served as Managing Director of Strategic Planning and Finance—a role that required management of budgeting processes and geographical performance for Tim Tech’soperations in the Americas, Asia and Africa.


Prior to Tim Tech, Moses worked at Uganda Investement authority, a semi-autonomous investment promotion and facilitation organisation in Uganda,owned by the government of Uganda. He also served as manager of business development, origination and Structuring at KCCA and launched his professional career at KCCA Uganda.

Amanya earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Makerere University Business School and his Master in Management from Uganda Management Institute in Uganda. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

As a founding partner and Father, Kenyi always envisioned a big, strong Tim Tech with worldwide reach, as it is today. As Tim Tech’s Shared Services Global Leader, he always kept in mind that the main value of this organization is the people. He was an important leader in development strategies and created a strong bond with different universities. Kenji Ekuan was Exemplary father, loving grandfather, a teacher, mentor and friend of countless generations. He will be remembered as one of the pillars in Tim Tech Consults history. Forever in our hearts. .

Sakwa Ambrose
Central Africa

His success story began in 2008 in his home country, at Tim Tech’s China office. He began as a programmer and later became a business consultant and project manager. Four years later, he had his first entrepreneurial experience with the opening of a Tim Tech’s branch in DR Congo , where he held the position of Business Unit Director. Since then, Bob has grown with the company, seized opportunities and worked in various areas and key markets for Tim Tech Consults, including South Sudan, Rwanda and Russia.

The entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to grow and lead change, streamline processes and build teams, led Bob to South Sudan in 2014—two years after the start of the company’s operations in the country. He went to start SAP operations, which today makes up Tim Tech’s’s largest service area, and later led five business units, including the sale and delivery of services and projects. Overcoming the challenges posed by the position, 1 years later he was able to celebrate the first local results and assumed the role of Director of Sales, where he stayed for the another year.

In 2017, Bob returned to his origins, in Moscow City, with the responsibility of promoting growth for SAP strategies and restructuring the business practice for the Tim Tech’s’s Moscow operation.He returned to Russia, where for a year he served as Executive Director of Applications Outsourcing. With 10 years at Tim Tech and great worldly experiences. He has since worked for the business development of the local market. Currently Bob is overseeing the operations at the national level, as Tim Tech Consults CEO of Moscow.

Moureen Mbabazi
Compliance

Since joining Tim Tech Consults in 2018, Queen has demonstrated great empathy with the culture of the organization, which led to her increasing involvement to form and direct this important area. During her management she has shaped a solid group at the global level through which she has not only maintained our essence, but also initiated a process of evolution that seeks to reaffirm this important element considered as one of the big differentiators of Tim Tech: its culture.

She started in Tim Tech as Strategic Socio of Human Capital, and says that here [in the organization] she visualizes a future that continuously changes but that which has a constant—to grow as a person and as a professional.

Rebecca Koki Mutungi

As Director for Tim Tech Africa, Rebecca faces the challenge of consolidating current operations and opening new opportunities for growth to within the continent.

During his more than 4 years of experience in the IT industry, he has contributed to the creation of offerings and services that today form part of the organization’s great achievements.

Rebecca started his career in 4 years ago, and has served in different roles including Project Leader, Director of Business Units, Sales Director for the Kenyan market, and Business Partner.

His visionary capacity and his commitment to set objectives that are increasingly ambitious, have transformed him into a great leader and have helped extend his influential mark not only in Kenya—where he is based—but to many other regions where Tim Tech operates. Rebecca holds a degree in Cybernetics Engineering and Computer Sciences from ,The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in Nairobi City.

Charles Garshum
Marketing & Communications

Charles Garshum has led the global marketing and communications efforts for Tim Tech since 2012, and today serves as the company’s CMO. In this role, Charles oversees the global management of digital marketing, media and analyst relations, employee communications and demand and lead generation to build the TTC brand. 

Under Charles’s leadership, his team has contributed to making Tim Tech Consults one of Africa’s most successful IT brands, bringing the nearshore industry to global prominence in the process. Among its recognitions from industry analysts, the company has been included in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for SAP Application Management Services, Africa (2013, 2014, 2015) and was the only African vendor included in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Offshore Application Services in 2016 & 2017.

Charles joined Tim Tech Consults in 2013, holding sales and consultancy roles prior to his move into marketing, including Director for the e-Business unit and later as Corporate Director of Technology.

He was responsible for organizing Tim Tech’s first-ever Nearshore Summit during his first year as head of Marketing, which has since evolved to become the company’s most important annual client event, attracting customers and business partners from the Africa.
